50th wedding anniversary

Yesterday we had a full and busy day celebrating my mother and father in laws 50th wedding anniversary. For this they needed a cardtag!

First of all I die cut tag from card and crunchy craft paper. The crunchy craft paper was then crinkled and vintage photo ink rubbed over it . A heart outline was die cut from grunge paper which was clear embossed and inked with worn lipstick. The birds were some that I had cut quite a while ago from a die owned by my good friend gab. These were then clear embossed and inked with faded jeans.

As a surprise for the Underneath I die cut two hearts using movers and shapers, clear embossed them then inked them with worn lipstick. And stuck them down.

All held together with some inked ribbon.

Think we all slept well.

  1. 50 Years! That's impressive...! This is lovely! I really like the idea of the surprise underneath! The Crunchy paper looks fabulous! Really textural for the birds to rest on! Good job lady! Were they pleased with it?

  2. They said they liked it. Met another crafter doing stuff that's not really my thing. If I say colouring then you know what I mean!
